We will move our administrative headquarters and distribution center to St. Louis Park, MN in the first quarter of 2015. In recent years, our business has experienced tremendous growth which is the driving force for a larger facility.

The new 36,000 square foot facility will be located in the Northwest corner of the Hillcrest Development renovation in the former St. Louis Park Nestle Factory, near the West End retail area. Managing Partner, Scott Tankenoff of Hillcrest Development said, “We are excited to welcome The Fish Guys to our Westside Center redevelopment project in St Louis Park, MN. We are pleased that The Fish Guys have selected our St. Louis Park property for their headquarters and production/distribution operations”.

The new, state-of-the-art facility, designed with the latest technologies and efficiencies, will house all our operations with room to accommodate continued expansion and business growth. Designed into the facility, a Research and Development Kitchen Innovation Center will be an excellent resource for product testing and tastings. The great location of the building is a perfect fit for the distribution center where over 5 million pounds of seafood is custom-cut, processed and delivered each year to local restaurants and retailers.

“With business growth and our future plans, we needed a larger space. We are pleased to incorporate an R&D kitchen and a larger processing floor into our new seafood facility to meet our customer’s needs.” says Mike Higgins, CEO and President of The Fish Guys.

Moving The Fish Guys operations into the new facility in St. Louis Park allocates new resources for the current building at 301 Royalston Avenue in Minneapolis. The centralized, Minneapolis location is fully equipped with refrigeration and freezers which offer the ability to pursue other new ideas and food markets for the culinary community. “We are keeping this building, it’s a perfect fit for a food business that requires a different location than seafood,” says Higgins.
